This is the first time we ever went, I went there with my family for the state id at the start it was very nice we went on yesterday but then as soon as we were waiting for the counter the employees were really rude, just because we didn't had our hard copy of a work id they were like we can't do this and that, I am sure it was at counter 7 and the employee next to the guy kept interrupting and giving us dirty looks, even though she already had a person at her counter and they won't accept the soft copy, it's the same thing.. and we asked them what they need and they were whispering and the guy especially was getting mad. There is no need to be mad at simple questions we had to go book appointment again but this time we had a lady and she was very sweet and polite at counter 6.

I had my driving test today at the Naperville DMV, and I was very nervous. My examiner, Paul, was kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. He gave clear instructions throughout the test and helped create a calm environment, which really helped me focus on driving safely instead of feeling anxious. After the test, he also shared a few helpful driving tips that I really appreciated. His patience and positive attitude made this a great experience. Thank you, Paul, for making such an important milestone a positive one. I truly appreciate your professionalism and encouragement.

These days ya gotta have an appt. I had one but showed up about 15 minutes late and my phone died so I couldnt show my appt confirmation. Was a bit worried. No problem! Needed a Real ID for upcoming domestic flight. Quick and fast with no issues. They even pointed out that I was eligible for a renewal so I had them take care of that also. Thank you to everyone there!

Make sure you bring a check. Make sure you make an appointment. We did not know we would need a check to pay taxes on private vehicle sale. We were told we could bring papers back with check and go straight to the front. When we returned, they said nope. Waited 1 hour the first time. 40 minutes the 2 nd time. Gone are the days when they go thru the list of items u need before you wait. The purchaser is a veteran. You used to get preferred access as a veteran. We were snootily told we were lucky some people had cancelled so we could go in. Online it said for title and stickers you didn’t need appointment. That is not accurate at that location. We saw a lot of down time at the stations in between servicing clients.. Up front where they give you a number was worse. 6-7 people behind counter. Usually only 2 or 3 doing anything at any given time. It was very busy. Maybe move some of them to the back to help? Make sure you take the whole day off work to make your visit there.

This new facility is great compared to 75th Street. Everyone I came in contact with was super nice and kind. There’s ample parking. There are so many counters to serve a large population of people. It went quickly and smoothly. My last contact there was Susie. She was so pleasant and kind. When you serve that many people and requests on a day- I think that would be a hard job dealing with so many personality types who don’t want to be at the DMV. The people there kept it light- non-stressful, Such a different experience compared to 75th Street.
